Padlocks

MBS offers 2 different case sizes and 3 different shackle diameters. All 3 padlock sizes feature stainless steel shackle lengths of ¾, 1-½, 2, 3, 4, and 5 inches.

Special options include: Brass Shackles, Frangible Brass Shackle, Clevis, 9" Brass or Steel Chain, Identification Tags, Weather Covers, Color Coding, Custom Monogramming, and Safety Lockout Hasps.

Yes, our interchangeable core is the same as what is defined in the industry now as SFIC (Small Format Interchangeable Core). It will fit in the same housings as Arrow, Best, Corbin, Falcon, GMS, InstaKey, Kaba-Ilco, KSP, Lori, LSDA, Marks, Medeco KeyMark, Peaks, Russwin, Sargent, Schlage, Scorpion, Ultra Security, Weiser, and Yale KeyMark. Our lock housings accept SFIC cores from the previously mentioned companies as well.

Is MBS part of the Stanley Security Solutions Best Access Systems Division?

No. MBS is a new corporation established in December of 2004 focusing on Customized Masterkeyed Locking Systems for the commercial market. However, the founder of MBS is a grandson of the original inventor of the sfic core.
